If Hope Dies (IHD), started in mid-2010, is a brainchild of Aakash Sherpa and Abinash Moktan. Having a mutual taste in music, the duo started laying the foundation for IHD by infusing their songs with their own brand of ferocity and adding a new twist to the tried-and-tested metal formula. Living by the motto ‘Hard work, Integrity, Struggle and Hope’, the band has maintained themselves as the forerunners of the “local Siliguri scene”. They released their debut EP Sukna via a mainstream online magazine.
