Silver Tears are poised to be part of, as in the words of the band, "NWOIHM" (New Wave Of Indian Heavy Metal). The band doesn’t take themselves too seriously and are clearly having fun whilst developing their sound, for good of course. These six lads are striving to pull together the thick-sliced foundations of honest, shout-loud songs of bands like Dream Theater and Textures, and yet manage to cover the acquired taste of storytelling lyrics – an art, by the likes of giants such as Porcupine Tree. It’s impressive that Silver Tears are influenced by some of the greats and yet they have managed to weave enough of their own musical concussion.
